Jose Conde-Coss - Graduate Program Specialist

Hi, I’m Jose Conde-Coss and I am the Graduate Program Specialist here at the School of Human Ecology! At a high level, I am responsible for:

  • Communications – I maintain this website, write the weekly newsletter, and serve as the point of contact for students
  • Event Planning/Coordination – I plan some of the big graduate program events like Visit Day and Spring Graduation
  • Scholarships/Awards – I handle the administration and awarding of all graduate program scholarships
  • Admissions/Recruitment – I am the first point of contact for prospective students. I help them understand application requirements, timelines and deadlines, funding, and our programs.
Dana Clay - Academic Program Specialist

Hi, I’m Dana Clay and I am the Academic Program Specialist. I work on the graduate program team as well as the faculty affairs team. On the grad side, I am responsible for:

  • Enrollment
  • Warrant requests (Prelim, MS, MFA, and PhD)
  • Student records and data requests
  • Annual Review of Graduate Students (ARGS)
Michelle Holland - Assistant Dean for Graduate Programs

Hi, I’m Michelle Holland, the Assistant Dean for Graduate Programs in the School of Human Ecology. I work with graduate students and faculty on many administrative aspects of the Human Ecology PhD, MFA, and MS programs. My role includes the following items:

  • Graduate Leadership Office (GLO), including the Associate Deans and Faculty Directors as well as the Graduate Program Committee (GPC)
  • Graduate faculty advisors
  • Graduate Funding such as TA/PA/RA/Fellowships
  • Graduate Student Organization
  • Graduate student issues
  • Appeals

The Human Ecology Graduate Leadership Office’s (GLO) mission is to provide thought and operational leadership for the OneSoHE Graduate Programs as well as leadership and oversight for implementation of the OneSoHE31 Strategic Plan. GLO is made up of the following:
